Boolprop Easter Egg - Week 2

Haru gets struck with pretty awful morning sickness this pregnancy, poor girl.

She gains no joy from food, only nausea.
My Mom had that with my brother. Must be a boy.

Dina changes her aspiration to bodybuilder, which means she needs a gym.
Haru does not need a gym, but she pops some books in her inventory and tags along.

While Dina is becoming good friends with Marcus Flex and acquainting herself with the workout machine, Haru settles down to read 'A Game of Groans'.

Dina hits the showers after the workout machine and this is how she emerges. Nice accessories, love.

They head home, and Dina rolls a whim to make a friend, so she attempts to befriend a kid who happens to walkby. Katrina also happens to walk by, so Haru decides to try to become acquainted with her future mother in law.

They apparently bond over literature. I believe Haru is reading 50 Shades on my Window, which I take it is a reference to 50 shades of grey?

One last day of work before the baby arrives.

Thankfully, one last day is all we need! Haru invents the satellite dish!

I'd also really love to renovate the house a little bit, so when Haru gets home we try another round of SimRaying some beds.

Though Haru gets interrupted by labour pains and Geoffrey turns up just to panic.

Geoffrey manages to distract himself rather effectively with a book, so that's cool.
The game does the thing where it positions the cradle so the mother can't get to it. I have to get the cradle and command her to give birth manually.

Okay, here we go. Properly this time.

Um, that's not what we want. Okay Teresa, the Hitchhiker's reference isn't here even for the first one. Do they have to be alien babies to get that message maybe?

And...twin boys. Gee, thanks Geoffrey. That explains the morning sickness I guess.
The boys are named Eli and Adam.

After the twins are born and when everyone else is happy(ish), Dina squeezes in a quick trip to the fashion district to complete her work-from-home task: greet 3 sims in the fashion district. I may need to re-think her career here.

But she gets it done, then heads home almost immediately. Good thing there's sims in the fashion district at all hours of the morning.

The next day, I use what's left of the simray milking to expand the house. It looks a bit funny, but I have a plan I'm working to by adding rooms as I can afford them.

For now, this house has everything we need, and it's sure a lot more spacious than the old one.

Haru and Dina settle into the 'routine' of looking after twins.

Haru does manage to set up the satellite, and finds time to watch !#*%&$@%

And manages to fit some gaming into her busy schedule.

Katrina pops over for a visit, and I suppose Haru must have tried to pass the babies off as her grandsons.

Because she heads straight towards them.
Let's not ruin her fun.

Haru decides to quit her job as a scientist, and joins the astronaut career instead.

Thankfully, however, she doesn't have to give up Zara.

This was initially meant to just pay for a rocket ship, but it brings in enough to expand the house again, so no one's complaining about that.

We add a master bathroom, a study, a 'garage' which will be used as a gym, and another room that's meant to be 'home cinema' according to the floor plan I'm using, but I'm still not 100% sure that's how I'm going to use it.

The cheap toilet breaks, so I move it outside so it can make a nice big puddle.

Ducky puddle! I actually didn't know about this one until this challenge, so I thought it was pretty cute.

Dina gets another work from home tasks that requires a trip to San Myshuno - this time, she needs to take a photo at a karaoke bar.

Beautiful photo Dina. Job done, go home.

It's nice to have a more normal career for Haru at least. Off to work on her first day as an astronaut!

Also, after branching to Social Media Manager, Dina finally gets some work-from-home tasks that she can actually complete from home. "Be funny with 5 sims" is achieved with the help of a few walk-bys.

Dina keeps the cheap computer in the new study, using it for her writing/joke writing/social media-ing.

As a requirement of her job, Haru is required to take up chess.

Before we know it, the twins are becoming toddlers!

This is Eli (the elder). He gets the charmer trait.

And here's Angelic Adam. I'll try to keep Eli in yellow, and Adam in red. Not that it's necessary - these two could not look more different to one another.

Eli works on building communication.

N'aww, I just know these two are going to be besties.
I wish I could keep the beds like this, but grown-ups always path-fail to the beds unless they can access BOTH sides of them so I have to 'break them up' and rearrange the bedroom.

Toddlers always take up so much of their parents' attention - I have no idea how Haru is going to rear 6 of these AND manage to do all the other challenge tasks.

I'm hoping maybe if I spread them out a bit, the older kids will be able to help with the younger ones? Who knows?

I am glad I've figured out some of the tricks to raising toddler skills effectively.

This is roughly where I leave them after week 2: one day into the toddlerhood of Geoffrey Landgraab's twins. Haru is a level 2 astronaut, Dina's a level 4 Public Relations Coordinator, and the twins are making good headway on their skills. I haven't done a proper tally of points yet because we only have 2 of the 6 required kiddos.
